Customers may request changes to their itinerary, travel date, number of participants, accommodation, transportation, or other services.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes, subject to availability.
Additional costs resulting from changes may be charged to the customer. These may include transportation costs, accommodation charges, entrance fees, supplier penalties, guide fees, or other expenses.
Changes requested shortly before departure may not be possible.
6. Cancellation or Changes by SouthSulawesiTour.com
We reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel a tour when necessary because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, government restrictions, unsafe conditions, transportation disruptions, local emergencies, or other events that may affect the safety or operation of the trip.
Where reasonably possible, we will offer an alternative itinerary, reschedule the trip, or provide another appropriate solution.
Any refund will depend on the amounts recoverable from third-party suppliers and the specific circumstances of the cancellation.
7. Weather and Outdoor Activities
Many South Sulawesi tours involve outdoor activities such as hiking, trekking, walking, boating, cave visits, village walks, and other nature-based experiences.
Weather and environmental conditions can change rapidly.
For hiking and outdoor tours, routes may become slippery, muddy, flooded, or otherwise difficult because of rain or other conditions. Tour itineraries may therefore be adjusted when necessary for safety.
Customers must follow the instructions of guides and tour leaders at all times.
The decision of the guide or tour operator regarding route changes, postponement, or termination of an activity for safety reasons shall be respected.
8. Health, Fitness, and Medical Conditions
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and medically capable of participating in the activities included in their selected tour.
Some hiking and adventure trips require a reasonable level of physical fitness and endurance.
Customers must inform us before departure about any relevant condition, allergy, dietary requirement, injury, mobility limitation, or other circumstance that could affect their participation.
We recommend that customers consult a qualified medical professional when uncertain about their ability to participate in physically demanding activities.
Customers are responsible for bringing any personal medication or medical equipment they require.
9. Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the trip.
SouthSulawesiTour.com is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or disappearance of personal items unless directly caused by our proven negligence.
Customers should avoid bringing unnecessary valuables and should keep passports, money, electronic devices, cameras, and other important belongings secure.
10. Transportation
Transportation may be provided by private cars, minibuses, boats, or other locally operated vehicles depending on the itinerary.

Where accommodation is included in a package, the accommodation will correspond to the category and service described in the booking confirmation.
Room availability, room types, facilities, check-in times, and hotel policies are subject to the accommodation provider's rules.
Any additional hotel expenses, including minibar charges, room service, laundry, telephone calls, or other personal expenses, are the customer's responsibility.
12. Local Culture and Responsible Tourism
We encourage all customers to respect local communities, traditions, customs, religious sites, villages, wildlife, and natural environments.
Customers should behave respectfully toward local residents and guides and should follow local regulations.
Visitors are encouraged to minimize plastic waste, avoid damaging natural or historical sites, and leave destinations clean.
Photography or filming of local people should be undertaken respectfully and, where appropriate, with permission.
13. Guides and Local Service Providers
Our tours may involve independent local guides, boat operators, drivers, accommodation providers, restaurants, and other third-party suppliers.
We carefully coordinate these services, but operational details may sometimes change due to availability or local circumstances.
Customers must follow reasonable instructions given by guides and service providers during the tour.
14. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all customers.
Insurance should ideally cover medical treatment, emergency evacuation, accidents, trip cancellation, travel delays, lost luggage, personal belongings, and outdoor activities where applicable.
Customers participate in tours and activities at their own responsibility and should ensure that their insurance policy covers the activities they have booked.
15. Customer Conduct
Customers are expected to behave respectfully toward guides, drivers, local residents, other travelers, and service providers.
We reserve the right to end a customer's participation in a tour if their behavior creates a serious safety risk, causes significant disruption, damages property, or threatens or harasses another person.

19. Complaints
If you experience a problem during your trip, please inform your guide or our team as soon as possible.
